Our primary business is the repair and maintenance of Pratt & Whitney engines. The company specializes in the overhaul of the Pratt & Whitney PT6 TwinPac and PT6A series engines. As an approved MORE Maintenance Facility, we are capable of performing MORE Inspections. Other in-house & production equipment:

• Oil Pump Test Bench: to test oil pumps upon completion or repair or overhaul.
• Oil Flow Test Bench: Used to check all oil-wetted parts for proper flow rates and spray patterns. Ensures proper lubrication during operation.
• Fuel Manifold/Component Flow Test Stand: Used to ensure fuel flow rates and/or spray patterns are within specifications.
• Electrical Bench: For the functional testing of electrical accessories.
• Computerized Balance Machine: For precision balancing of rotating components.

Precision machining, welding, and critical inspections required for parts restoration are performed in Southwest's own machine shop. Our machine shop can also manufacture specialized tooling.
